1. What this software is

Stone Mate is free software (freeware). Private individuals, schools, families, students, teachers, and also firms, companies, professionals, and organizations may use it at no license cost. It is an editor for mathematical formulas, with an A4 page, graphs, and GeoGebra.

2. Free to share, not for sale

You may download, install, use, copy, exchange, and give away Stone Mate to anyone (people or businesses), without asking permission and at no charge.

Selling, reselling, renting, paid licensing, or any other commercial exploitation of the software, of the packages, or of modified copies presented as Stone Mate is not allowed.

You may not bundle Stone Mate into paid products, commercial kits, or paid services without the author’s written permission.

3. No data collection, logs, or statistics

Stone Mate does not collect personal data. The program sends no telemetry, does not ship usage logs to external servers, does not track usage statistics, and does not profile you.

Files and documents stay on your computer (or wherever you save them). Optional features (for example OCR with Ollama, or GeoGebra content) run locally or through third-party services you choose to use. Stone Mate is not an analytics service and it is not a data-collection service.

4. No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (for example) warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, of uninterrupted operation, or of freedom from errors.

You use it at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the author is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Stone Mate or from the inability to use it (loss of data, interruption of school or work, and so on).

5. Third-party property and trademarks

Stone Mate uses GeoGebra® and, for optional local OCR, Ollama. It is not an official product of those projects and it is not affiliated with them. GeoGebra®: https://www.geogebra.org.

The author keeps all rights in the Stone Mate name, mark, and code. Giving the software away for free does not transfer those rights.
